Lara Worthington launches Ommage, her new beauty label, in Australia
Lara Worthington is back in beauty with Ommage, a three-piece make-up collection led by First Base, the evolution of her cult LB Cream. Here are the shades, prices and where to buy it.
Lara Worthington has returned to beauty with Ommage, a new make-up label that launched online in Australia and the US on 22 September 2026. The debut collection is deliberately small, just a tinted cream, a lip colour and a brush, but it marks the Australian model and entrepreneur's return to beauty and revives the tinted cream that made her original brand a cult name.
Three products, one idea
The core collection is built around three pieces:
- First Base: a buildable tinted cream in a 30ml size that hydrates and evens the complexion with a second-skin finish, offered in 12 shades with names such as Pinch, Twist, Squeeze and Crumple.
- Lip Coat: a buildable colour that can be dabbed on as a soft stain or layered for more intensity, in eight shades including In The Red, Rust N Bone, Burnt Orange and Pressed Grapes.
- Buffer Brush: an application brush with vegan fibres and a weighted aluminium handle.
All formulas are described as clean, vegan and cruelty-free. The shade names reflect the brand's concept: Ommage says its design references industrial objects that have been crushed, dented and pushed until hard forms appear soft. The packaging was designed by Brian Roettinger, who has previously worked with Skims and Nécessaire.
A return, not a reboot
First Base has a history. Worthington first launched a single tinted moisturiser, The LB Cream, under her brand The Base more than a decade ago, and it became a cult product for its natural, glowing finish. It later ran as Share The Base, a not-for-profit venture, before being discontinued. First Base is the evolution of that formula, now with a wider shade range.
"Ommage began with a simple idea: that beauty can start with the object itself. I wanted to create sculptural pieces that feel as good in the hand as they do on the face," Worthington said.
"Every formula was developed to accentuate features, rather than mask or correct. My hope is that this core collection becomes what you reach for, return to, and make your own."
Where it is sold
Ommage is sold direct through its own website in Australia and the US. Internationally, it has also been placed at Dover Street Parfums Market in Paris, and the brand marked its New York debut with an event at Climax Books. There is no Australian bricks-and-mortar stockist announced at this stage.
