The Biggest Australian Tours of 2027 So Far: BTS, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon and Niall Horan
From a heavy January to a stadium-sized February and a spring finale, here is the Australian 2027 touring calendar worth planning your summer around.
The biggest Australian tours of 2027 so far read like a group chat that has got out of hand: BTS, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon and Niall Horan, plus a few curveballs for good measure. The calendar has barely started filling up and February already looks busy, so here is your summer soundtrack in order.
January: System of a Down bring the noise
System of a Down kick the year off with three stadium nights, and Faith No More are along for the ride. That is a proper heavy double bill, the sort of line-up you tell people about years later. Expect earplugs to be the accessory of the month.
February: the big month
This is where the diary gets crowded. Niall Horan arrives first with his Dinner Party tour, an arena run across four cities with Jude York in support. It is a cosy, singalong sort of night, and it lands just before the stadiums take over.
Then comes BTS, bringing the ARIRANG World Tour to Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and Accor Stadium in Sydney, two nights each. For a lot of ARMY this is the trip of the year, so expect flights, hotels and group chats to be sorted early.
Bruno Mars follows with The Romantic Tour, and he is doing it properly: twelve shows across Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Tyla is the special guest on every date, and Anderson .Paak is warming things up as DJ Pee .Wee, which is a pretty great pre-show to arrive early for.
Right at the end of the month, Kings of Leon come back with three outdoor shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Racecourse and park gigs are made for long summer evenings, so that one is a good excuse for a picnic rug.
March: sunsets and gardens
Leon Bridges takes The Happiness Anytime Tour to some of the prettiest spots in the country, from the Sydney Opera House Forecourt to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, with 54 Ultra supporting. Leon Bridges also pops up at WOMADelaide. It is soul music for golden hour, and the settings do half the work.
Bruno Mars also finishes his Sydney run in early March, and Kings of Leon wrap up their Brisbane and Melbourne shows in the same week, so March is the month to fit in whatever February did not.
November: Jorja Smith, later in the year
The one to circle for spring is Jorja Smith, who brings her third album, What Are The Odds, to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. It is a long way off, but she is worth getting in early on.
A few smart moves
Look at where dates stack up. Bruno Mars in Brisbane, Kings of Leon in Sydney and Leon Bridges in Brisbane all fall on the same Sunday in late February, so choose your night before the group chat does it for you. If you are travelling for BTS, the Sydney nights are a weekend, which makes the logistics kinder.
