Hans Zimmer's New Arena Show Is Coming, and Two Nights Have Already Sold Out
The composer behind Dune, Interstellar and The Lion King brings Hans Zimmer Live: The Next Level to five Australian cities in October. Here's where you can still get in.
Few living composers can fill an arena the way Hans Zimmer can. The man behind the scores for Dune, Interstellar, Gladiator and The Lion King returns to Australia next month with a brand-new production, and demand has been strong enough that promoter Frontier Touring has already added extra shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
What is The Next Level?
Hans Zimmer Live: The Next Level is the multiple Oscar and Grammy winner's new arena show. Zimmer's live concerts are closer to a rock show than a night at the symphony, with the composer on stage leading a large band, orchestra and choir through his best-known film themes, backed by a big lighting and visual production. The Next Level promises a visionary new staging built for arenas.

- Perth: Monday 12 October, RAC Arena
- Adelaide: Thursday 15 October, Adelaide Entertainment Centre Arena
- Brisbane: Tuesday 20 October (sold out) and Wednesday 21 October, Brisbane Entertainment Centre
- Melbourne: Saturday 24 October (sold out) and Sunday 25 October, Rod Laver Arena
- Sydney: Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, Afterpay Arena (formerly Qudos Bank Arena)
Tickets
Tickets for the remaining shows are on sale through Frontier Touring, with waitlists open for the sold-out Brisbane and Melbourne dates. Frontier has flagged the second Brisbane show as the final addition, so if you want in, the newer dates are your best bet.
