MOVA's V70 Ultra Complete Is a $3,299 Robot Vacuum That Climbs Stairs of Furniture
MOVA's new flagship robot vacuum has AI object recognition, a mop that extends into corners, and enough suction to win a design award. It also costs more than most laptops.
Robot vacuums keep getting smarter, and MOVA's new flagship is a good example of how far the category has come since the days of a disc bumping into skirting boards. The V70 Ultra Complete is now available in Australia, and it is aimed squarely at people who want the most capable machine on the market and are willing to pay for it.
The numbers that matter
The headline spec is 42,000Pa of suction, generated by a motor that spins up to 150,000RPM. That is a serious jump from the mid-range robot vacuums most people are used to, and it is paired with a MaxiReachX system that extends a 17cm mop and a 12cm side brush into corners and along skirting boards that a standard round robot vacuum simply cannot reach.
Obstacles are handled by what MOVA calls StepMaster System 2.0, which lets the robot climb thresholds and low furniture up to 9cm high. Navigation runs through a retractable DToF sensor system MOVA calls FlexScope, combined with AI vision that recognises more than 300 household objects, so the robot can identify and avoid things like phone chargers and pet toys rather than just detecting an obstacle and turning away.
Mopping and emptying itself
For mopping, the V70 Ultra Complete uses dual spinning pads at 300RPM with around 15N of downward pressure, which is designed to lift dried-on marks rather than smear them. A Pet Care Mode adds detection for pets and pet waste, an increasingly common feature as robot vacuum makers compete for households with dogs and cats.
The dock is an EcoCyclone bagless dust station rated for up to 100 days between empties, and the robot's 6400mAh battery charges around 30 per cent faster than the previous generation. The design won a 2026 Red Dot Award, which is more a marketing point than a practical one, but it does suggest MOVA is competing on design polish as much as raw specs.

The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete is available now in Australia for A$3,299 RRP, through Harvey Norman, Amazon Australia and the MOVA Australia online store. It comes with a three-year Australian warranty.
Is it worth it
At more than three times the price of a solid mid-range robot vacuum, the V70 Ultra Complete is squarely a premium purchase, and most households will get excellent results from something far cheaper. Where it makes sense is in larger homes with a mix of carpet and hard flooring, pets, and skirting boards that a standard robot vacuum leaves dusty. If that describes your house and the price doesn't put you off, this is currently one of the most capable machines MOVA has ever put on Australian shelves.
