Breitling Super Chronomat Aston Martin Valhalla: A Watch Only Owners Can Get
Breitling will build a watch to match your Aston Martin Valhalla, down to the colours, the finish and an engraving.
The Breitling Super Chronomat Aston Martin Valhalla is a watch with a very short guest list. Breitling has partnered Aston Martin and will be producing the watch exclusively for owners of the 999 Aston Martin Valhalla supercars .
It is not the first time a car brand and a watch brand have teamed up, but this one gets personal. Instead of picking a watch off a shelf, a Valhalla owner uses a dedicated configurator to design one that reflects their own car: the colours, the finish, even an engraving. A watch that matches the car it was built around is an idea almost anyone can fall for.

Two watches, both built around the car
Owners get to choose between two Super Chronomat models. The larger one is the Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph. It has a 44mm titanium case and a carbon fibre dial, and you can see the movement working through the back. The clever part is the perpetual calendar: it keeps track of short months and leap years on its own, so you can leave it alone until the year 2100.

The smaller one is the Super Chronomat Automatic 38. It is a 38mm steel watch with a textured carbon fibre dial and a bezel set with diamonds, which gives it a bit more sparkle and a bit less bulk. It is a far more compact watch than the 44mm.

On both, the owner picks small details that echo the Valhalla. On the larger watch that means the colour of the inner ring, the hands and the rotor engraving. On the smaller one, the colour of the ring and hands plus an engraving on the back. The lime yellow in the launch pictures is a nod to the car, and the point is that yours could look quite different.

Why watches keep getting harder to buy
Car and watch brands have been pairing up for decades, but the pairings used to be simple: a logo on a dial, a limited edition on a shelf. Now the trend is a watch you cannot simply buy at all. Access comes from owning the car, or from being the right person at the right moment.

For collectors, that is a double-edged thing. On one side, it makes the piece feel like a proper keepsake rather than a stock item. A watch tied to your own car, with your own colours, is about as personal as a watch gets. On the other side, most keen watch fans will never be able to join in, and a piece that never reaches a shop window is one you can only admire in photos. That is partly why people are fascinated by these launches: the rarity is part of the story.

It also fits Breitling and Aston Martin neatly. Breitling became Aston Martin's official watch partner in February 2026, and the Valhalla is Aston's first series-production mid-engine plug-in hybrid supercar. Giving owners a say in the watch is the next logical step, and it makes the car feel like the start of a wider ownership experience, not the end of it.

For the rest of us, the Super Chronomat is still a great watch to look at. Just do not expect to find the Valhalla version in a shop.
